This policy applies to the StrikeHoney app, the free websites we generate for contractors, and strikehoney.com ("StrikeHoney," "we," "us").

Account information, meaning your name, business name, email, and phone number when you sign up.

Business and job information, meaning quotes, invoices, job records, and the customer contact details you enter to run your business, such as a client's name, address, or phone number.

Communications, meaning messages and calls made through your StrikeHoney business phone number, so they can be saved to the right job.

Payment information, which is handled directly by our payment processor. StrikeHoney does not store your full card number.

Usage and device information, meaning basic technical data like browser type, device, and pages visited, used to keep the app working and to understand what to improve.

To provide the service, running your quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, and business phone number.

To communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to the service.

To keep the app secure and to fix problems.

To improve StrikeHoney, using aggregated or anonymized data wherever possible.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties, and we do not use your job or customer records to serve ads.

Service providers who help us run StrikeHoney, such as our payment processor, our cloud hosting provider, and the carrier behind your business phone number. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

Legal or safety reasons, if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of StrikeHoney, our users, or the public.

A business transfer, if StrikeHoney is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer as part of that deal, under the same protections described here.

The StrikeHoney website currently does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics tools in the future, we'll update this section and, where required, ask for your consent first.

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period after you close it, in case you want to reopen or export it. We may keep some records longer where the law requires it (for example, tax or billing records).

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of who can access production systems, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we'll notify you if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, as required by law.

Access and export, so you can export your customers, quotes, jobs, and invoices at any time, directly from the app.

Correction, so you can update your account and business information yourself, or contact us for help.

Deletion, so you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. We'll confirm what will be deleted and any legal reasons we may need to retain specific records.

If you're located in a jurisdiction with additional privacy rights (for example under PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, or GDPR), you may have further rights to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us and we'll help.

StrikeHoney is a business tool intended for adults running a trade business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or through the app before they take effect.
